P.V.Sindhu-Sindhu made a history In INDIA

Pusarla Venkata Sindhu( P.V.Sindhu), is an experienced Indian Badminton player. Sindhu made History in the latest 2021 Olympic by winning Bronz Medal. P. V. Sindhu also won the Silver Medal in Rio Olympic 2016. She is the only Indian woman to win back-to-back medals in Olympics. Because of her success he made history in India.



Early Life Of P. V. Sindhu:

P.V.Sindhu was born on 5th July 1995, in Hyderabad state, Andhra Pradesh. She was educated at Auxilium Highschool and St. Ann's College for women in Hyderabad. Sindhu's parent plays professional volleyball. But Sindhu gets decided to choose Badminton. Because she gets inspiration from Pullela Gopichand. 2001 All England open badminton champion. Sindhu starts playing badminton at the very early age of 8 years. After that learn the basics of badminton and then she joined Pullela Gopichand's Gopichand Badminton Academy.

"P.V.Sindhu reports her coaching center on a time daily. Covering 56km distance from her hometown."After joining this academy Shindhu won several titles and then his career started.

Career:

Sindhu moves to an international circuit at the very young age of 14 years. She won the Bronz medal in the 2009 sub-junior Asian Badminton Championship held in Colombo. In the 2010 Iran Fajr International Badminton championship, Sindhu won the Silver medal. In 2011 she won the Maldives international championship. She also won Indonesia international championship.

She won the Asian Junior championship beating in 2012. In 2013 she reached her career-best ranking of 15. She won the Malaysian title, this was her first Grand Prix Gold title. After that, she won several titles. In 2016 Sindhu won Silver Medal in Rio Olympics. In 2017 she won several titles and in April 2017 she achieved a career-high world ranking of 2. Now in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, she again won the Bronz Medal and made History. Sindhu became the first Indian woman to winning back to back Olympics medals.

Honors: 
            Sindhu got so many Honors Awards in their career.


  • Padma Bhushan award. The third-highest civilian award across India in January 2020.
  • Padma Shri award. The fourth highest civilian award across India in March 2015.
  • Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award. The highest sporting award in India in August 2016.
  • Arjun Award for Badminton in September 2013.

Personal Life:

Since 2013 P.V.Sindhu employee with Bharat petroleum as an assistant sports manager. After winning the Silver Medal in Rio Olympics in 2016 she was promoted to Deputy Sports Manager. Sindhu becomes the first brand ambassador of Bridgestone India. She was appointed as Deputy Collector by Andhra Pradesh Gov. in 2017 Which she took charge in later. 

Sindhu is that the Flagbearer for the Indian Contingent within the opening ceremony of the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
